How much do you have to pay yourself, CEO?
Most entrepreneurs, in the early stage of their business, are mostly self-funded companies.
So, at the beginning of your business, do you have to pay your salary for your hard work?
I suggest you think about the following topics:
  • Are you valuable to your company? How to evaluate your value?
  • Objectively evaluate your abilities. Are you willing to hire yourself?
  • How long can you live without a salary?
  • If you are lucky enough to have investor support, what is the meaning of your salary to investors?
  • If unfortunately, the cash balance of the company is insufficient, would you like to continue to receive wages, or would you like to give up the payment of wages, or even would you like to advance money to support the company to continue to operate?
CEO pay is an inevitable sensitive issue. Without putting the CEO's personal compensation into the necessary management projects for the company to operate, it is easy to break out of danger.
In addition, don't underestimate your financier's interpretation of the meaning of your salary. Her mouth is not absolutely tenable to you. Therefore, you must carefully arrange your own salary.
